Ces derni\u00e8res d\u00e9cennies, les villes africaines sont confront\u00e9es \u00e0 des s\u00e9ries d\u2019inondations en lien avec l\u2019urbanisation rapide, l\u2019intensification des fortes pluies et la d\u00e9faillance du r\u00e9seau de drainage pluvial. La pr\u00e9vision de ces inondations constitue un enjeu majeur, et passe par la cartographie pr\u00e9cise et lisible des \u00e9coulements de surface. Cette \u00e9tude, men\u00e9e dans la p\u00e9riph\u00e9rie urbaine de l\u2019agglom\u00e9ration de Dakar, vise \u00e0 proposer une m\u00e9thode de calcul permettant de localiser les d\u00e9bordements du r\u00e9seau de drainage \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle de l\u2019agglom\u00e9ration, avec des temps de calcul compatibles avec la pr\u00e9vision en temps r\u00e9el. Apr\u00e8s avoir d\u00e9crit bri\u00e8vement la m\u00e9thode, l\u2019article s\u2019attache \u00e0 montrer comment int\u00e9grer les diff\u00e9rents objets urbains modifiant les directions de drainage ou les caract\u00e9ristiques des \u00e9coulements (b\u00e2ti, collecteurs, bassins de retenue) et restituer la topologie du drainage \u00e0 une \u00e9chelle fine (5 m). La m\u00e9thode, bas\u00e9e sur un MNT, est d\u00e9crite en pr\u00e9sentant les algorithmes utilis\u00e9s ou d\u00e9velopp\u00e9s, illustr\u00e9s par des exemples. Ces algorithmes sont op\u00e9rationnels dans le logiciel ATHYS et son module Vicair. Cet article sera compl\u00e9t\u00e9 ult\u00e9rieurement par la description de la mod\u00e9lisation hydrologique et hydraulique associ\u00e9e \u00e0 cette topologie.<\/p><\/div>

ABSTRACT<\/h2>

In recent decades, African cities have been exposed to a series of floods related to rapid urbanisation, intensification of heavy rainfall and failure of the storm drainage systems. Predicting these floods is a major challenge, and requires accurate and legible mapping of surface runoff. This study, carried out in the urban periphery of Dakar, aims to propose a calculation method for locating the overflows of the drainage network on the scale of the conurbation, with calculation times compatible with real time. After briefly describing the method, the article shows how to integrate the various urban objects modifying the drainage directions or the flow characteristics (buildings, collectors, retention basins), and to restore the drainage topology at a fine scale (5 m). The method is described by presenting the algorithms used or developed, illustrated by examples. These algorithms are operational in the ATHYS software and its Vicair module.
